    Description

It depends on how you booked:

    • If your train and flight were on one combined ticket (some airlines and rail partners offer this), you may be protected and rebooked at no extra cost.
    • If they were separate tickets, the airline usually isn’t responsible, but you can still ask for help.

    What to do:

    1. Show the airline proof of the delay, like a rail operator notice.
    2. Ask for standby or the next flight.
    3. Ask whether fees can be waived.
    4. Check insurance, since rail delays are sometimes covered.

Keep tickets and delay notices. More on what to do if you rebook a missed flight is explained here.
